Welcome to Sida Thai

General Info

Tucked away in the heart of Stirling, Sida Thai offers a warm and welcoming spot for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors. From the moment you step inside, there’s a relaxed, easygoing vibe that makes it feel like a place you can return to again and again-whether for a casual dinner or a laid-back evening with friends.

The menu is where things really shine. It’s thoughtfully put together, balancing familiar favorites with rich, aromatic dishes that reflect classic Thai cooking. One of the first things I tried was the Tom Yum Soup, and it set the tone perfectly-fresh, tangy, and packed with bold flavors. If you’re into creamy soups, the Tom Kah is equally satisfying, with its smooth coconut base and subtle spice.

For mains, the Pad Thai Chicken is a must. It’s comforting yet flavorful, with just the right mix of sweetness and savory notes. Meanwhile, the Gaeng Dang Thai Red Curry brings a deeper, richer heat that lingers pleasantly. If you’re dining with others, the Appetizer Sampler Platter is a great way to explore different bites without committing to just one starter-it’s ideal for sharing and gives you a broader feel for the kitchen’s style.

Beyond the food, the overall experience feels thoughtfully designed. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, making it inclusive and easy to navigate. There’s also the convenience of delivery if you’d rather enjoy your meal at home, which is always a bonus on busy evenings. Practical touches like a clean restroom and support for NFC mobile payments make the visit smooth from start to finish.

What stands out most is how balanced everything feels. The location is central yet not overwhelming, the menu is varied without being confusing, and the service supports a relaxed dining pace. Reviews often highlight the consistency here, and it’s easy to see why-each dish feels carefully prepared and reliably satisfying.

All in all, Sida Thai isn’t just another restaurant in Stirling; it’s a spot that delivers a genuinely enjoyable dining experience, blending comfort, flavor, and convenience in a way that keeps you coming back.

What customers say?

“ Came here before a show at the MacRobert and got the mixed starter with prawn tempura then a green and red curry with noodles and sticky rice. Food was fantastic and service was great. Delicious 10/10 ”

“ All the curries were exceptionally tasty. Some food such as Tom Yum soup didn't taste like the original but regardless it was very tasty. This place is fairly price and I think it definitely worth your money. I high recommend this place if you are Thai food enjoyer. ”

- Bisshu -

“ Went right at opening, Best Thai food I've ever had. The coconut rice paired with the thick delicious red Thai curry. Absolutely Sensational. Didn't feel like we waited for the food and customer service was great. Some of the best food I've had overall to date . Left fully stuffed and total for two was about £42 with drinks a couple dishes each ”

- Oladapo Olajumoke -

“ I had ordered drunken fried rice, tom yum, satay, fish cake and thai milk tea. Tom yum was good, very authentic. Thai milk tea had the authentic taste as well. Satay I feel is more of chicken skewers but was tasty. Fish cake would have preferred more taste to it. But overall definitely a place I will come again. ”

“ One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! Dined here 14/05/25 while on a business trip. Beautiful food, brilliant service and unbelievable value for money. I can fully recommend! ”

- Jude Gavin -

“ This a cosy Thai restaurent that serves authentic Thai cusine. All the items were very tasty. The were authentic and were nicely served. The place is small but is very well located. It is in the centrum of Striling. The curries were guinely good. The starters were piping hot and crisp. I also liked the Thai beer Singha. The spring rolls and puffs were very good. So were the curries. The portions were reasonable. There was lot of variety for vegetarians as well. It was not just the regular red and green curry but also exotic varieties like Penang curry. The rice should have been better cooked although the coconut rice was lovely. They maintained the basic Thai flavor and did not dilute it to suit the local palate. Please have dinner here when in Stirling. ”

“ This is my favourite restaurant in Stirling! Great variety of dishes and all so delicious. You will even receive a free bowl of prawn crackers. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I guarantee this will be the best Thai food that you have ever eaten. ”

- Merinda Hewat-Cameron -

“ Extremely good food! I ordered the Pad Thai prawn and the coconut rice. The coconut rice was out of this world and it tasted like the best snack or even a pudding! Would really recommend the coconut creamed rice and the prawn pad Thai. The service was amazing, really friendly staff. Would definitely come here again ! ”
